Our culture has raised many problematic questions to the Christian church today such as: How can we know God is real? How can there only be one true religion? How could a good God allow evil and suffering? Hasn’t science disproved Christianity? How reliable is the Bible? This course will seek to provide an overview of and answers to these kinds of questions. You are encouraged to bring your own questions and “put them on the table” for discussion. This class will be an intellectually stimulating and emotionally safe environment to process your own doubts.
The class will be led by Dr. Alex Tuckness who is a professor of Political Science at Iowa State University. Dr. Tuckness has served as an elder at Cornerstone Church in Ames, Iowa for more than 10 years and has been involved in Bible teaching, equipping, and college ministry. He received his masters degree from Cambridge University and his Ph.D. from Princeton University.
This one-day class will be held at Citylight Benson Church (5612 Corby St) from 8:30AM-4:30PM.
The class is $30 (whether your come for the morning or the whole day). Scholarships are available. We won’t want money to be a barrier for anyone.
Don’t Miss: Faith & Doubt Forum
